Kassin established her award-winning firm in 2010 with a singular vision: unpretentious service with unparalleled results. Her team is celebrated for creating lively, authentic spaces that look and feel completely personal to each client.

Along with her impressive residential portfolio, Kassin has also overseen the design of some of the Bay Area’s premier office spaces, including the San Francisco headquarters of Airbnb. She sees a critical through line between her home and office projects: an inspiring space helps people thrive.

Kassin’s dedication to her clients’ individual tastes and her mastery of organizational systems and processes has earned her praise from the San Francisco Business Times, which named IDF Studio to its list of the top 25 Design Firms. The firm’s work has appeared in dozens of publications, including Elle Décor, Luxe, Dwell, HGTV Magazine, California Home & Design, San Francisco Magazine, SF Cottages & Gardens, and more.

Trained at UC Berkeley’s Interior Design and Architecture program, Kassin’s approach to every project boils down to practicality – the room has to look amazing and work for real life. Put simply, she’s invigorated by the potential to make any space extraordinary.

Kassin lives in Mill Valley with her husband and their two daughters.
